Bo Bunny Etc Mini album: Vintage Journal

Vintage Journal Super Mini

I saw these cute little chipboard at Papermarket for like a dollar after discount for their second anniversary and I got like 4 of them. They were really quite small. Like a 3 inch by 5 1/4 inch cute little things. Also, at about the same time before, I saw the ETC collection from bo bunny and I knew at once that I wanted it. When I went down to the store again a few days later, they ran out of the 6x6 and only had paper for the 12x12. I was SOOOO disappointed. Then while passing by there a few more days later. I saw ONE 6x6 paper pad and I totally jumped on it. (Not literally, that would be quite disruptive). Here are some cool photos!

Altered Book Grunge Experiment

So, I was walking by like a bazaar in school and I saw these adorable small(-ish) hardcover book for 2 dollars and decided that I should TOTALLY get them to alter. This is the first time I'm doing an altered book. Most of the sticking together of the pages was sort of hap hazard but I'm not one known for being too picky about the corners. So I quickly did my first altered book and made it into a mini. And below are the results!

In Philippines

I'm away in Philippines for a mission trip so would not have too much time to update the blog. Meanwhile, it is giving an amazing amount of inspiration for new artwork so I better write and draw them down before I come back. :D

Just to update a little on the flea that passed. Honestly, the crowd was not too great but hey, I picked up some experience for future fleas. Some of my items are already on etsy for sale so I'm going to put up the links in the next post.

Here are some pictures. Enjoy.

Flea Market Day 1

Today's flea market sale at Changi Airport Terminal 3 was rather slow initially and only picked up around evening time. Nonetheless, Melissa (from meltitude crafts) and I enjoyed ourselves. Photos will be uploaded. Tomorrow, we'll be down there again to sell my coptic binding and 'journal binding' books.

A number of constructive suggestions that was given today and I am thankful and will take that into account as this book thing slowly picks up.

1) Use acid free paper. It is pointless to have such nice designs and well done pieces if the paper itself isn't archival. I'll take that into account.

2) Custom make books. There seems to be a demand, once I'm ready to provide that service I'll gladly do so. So watch this space!!!

3) Have more options with different number of pages for different people of different needs/wants.

This was definitely an eye opening experience. Thank you for all your support. The first collection release will be temporarily dated on the 14th of December.

THANKS ALL WE CAME DOWN AND SUPPORTED US!

Handbound Books

Ever wanted a notebook that is unique and only you have. Well, look no further because here you are looking at hand-bound books. The books are sewn via coptic binding and the cover comes in various designs (but I'm only going to make each cover once)!

The first collection will be out shortly! Designs on the cover by SEI and Pebbles Scrapbook paper.

Til then.
